Montserrat Caballe (1933 - Living or Unknown) - opera singer
Maria de Montserrat Viviana Concepción Caballé i Folch, better known as Montserrat Caballé, is a world-renowned Catalan (Spanish) soprano. She is best known in the contemporary music world for her collaboration with Queen singer Freddie Mercury on the album and song Barcelona. Mr Mercury considered her voice the best he had ever heard, which is indeed a compliment considering Mercury himself had among the best voices in music history.
